Community College Outreach

DNA 2015Overview

The University of California Riverside's College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and the HSI STEM Pathway Program are hosting two programs which provide a four-week research experience.  The two programs, DNA Subway and Physical Science, consist of local community college students engaged in faculty mentored on campus research. Each team will present their results and conclusions during a poster presentation at the end of the program.  Financial support is provided by the Hispanic Serving Institution [HSI] STEM Pathway Project Grant from the U.S. Department of Education, aimed at supporting underrepresented student populations in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics [STEM] fields.
