The world of science is a world of exploration. Perhaps you are excited about exploring that world for yourself. Majors
Undergraduate students in the College have 13 majors available, with a total of 29 options or tracks. While it is possible to major in a straightforward discipline such as Physics, some options are interdisciplinary in scopeāfor example, Environmental Toxicology or Statistical Computing.

CNAS Office of Student Affairs
Undergraduate Academic Advising Center
The nerve center of all CNAS undergraduate students' progress through their degrees is the CNAS Undergraduate Academic Advising Center, located in 1223 Pierce Hall. [link to map] The Academic Advising Center offers virtually one-stop shopping for CNAS undergrads, with services ranging from informational for prospective students and their families, to academic advising for enrolled students, to degree certification for students approaching completion of their bachelor's degree.
Medical and Health Careers Program
The Medical and Health Careers Program provides guidance and resources to students whose goal after graduation is to complete professional training for a career in either a medical or other career in the health professions.
CNAS Scholars
The CNAS Scholars Program consists of groups of academically dedicated, first-year students in learning communities that are designed to foster student success during the freshman year.
California Teach/Science-Math Initiative
A State of California/University of California initiative, CATeach/SMI aims to increase the number of science and mathematics teachers in California classrooms. At UCR, the program provides a variety of services and incentives for students to consider teaching.
