Admission
There is no charge for admission to the lectures.and seating is open.
Schedule
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The lecture runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A question and answer period will begin at 8:00 p.m.and last until 8:15 p.m.
Parking
Parking for the University Theatre is in Lot 6 (check location on the UC Riverside campus map). If you enter the campus from University Avenue or Martin Luther King Drive, there will be signs reading "Science Lecture" that direct you to the correct lot.
Parking will be charged at a cost of $5 per car, and only cash can be accepted by the attendant. We suggest you carpool with as many people as you can.
Professional development credit for teachers
Teachers who are interested in receiving professional development credit for attending the lecture series must make arrangements in advance with University Extension. Contact Annette Webb, telephone 951-827-1653 or email awebb@ucx.ucr.edu. To receive credit, teachers must attend all lectures in the series.
Please note that only series with at least five lectures are eligible for professional development credit.
The Science Circle
The Science Circle is a group of members of the community who are interested in science and who support the research activities of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Their support makes the Science Lectures Series possible. MORE
