The Guppy Project

Pierson Hill

Pierson Hill
Florida State University

I'm a PhD student in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Florida Pierson Hill - Florida State UniversityState University. My primary interests are in hybridization and landscape genetics, particularly as they relate to conservation biology. My research is mainly focused on reptiles and amphibians in the southeastern coastal plain of the US and how they are impacted by human land uses. My role in FIBR is to participate in the censuses of the Rivulus populations in the focal stream studies. My ulterior motives for being there include being able to walk the forest late at night in search of exotic tropical wildlife. You can see some of my photographs at http://www.flickr.com/photos/nclarkii/

The folders labeled "Guppy FIBR" documents some of the wildlife I have seen while working on this project.
