Research Facilities

With its origins dating back to the creation of the Citrus Experiment Station in 1907 and its home in the heart of the Citrus Belt, it's not surprising that the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences has a few orange trees. But a living museum of all the types of citrus plants in the world? How about a 40-acre botanical garden with over 3,500 plants and four miles of trails? Or a research museum that houses a huge collection of insects and arthropods? These are just a few of the college's research facilities, many of which welcome visitors (be sure to call ahead unless hours are posted on the web site).
